R.E.A.L. Women's Ministry

As women here at The Bridge Church, we desire to join together in harmony, creating a ministry devoted to connection and serving others.  By deepening the relationships with one another, we can join in a unified spirit to reach those around us who are hurting and need encouragement or who just need Sisters-in-Christ to walk alongside them in their journey of faith.  We all fit into one of these two categories!  As we connect on a deeper level, a ripple effect will occur- first within our own ministry and then splashing Christ's love onto others.  We have a deep understanding from the Word of God that we are to disciple others and be discipled!  Discipleship aids in accountability and growth in our spiritual walk to maturity.  As a woman of faith or as a woman seeking, we invite you along for the journey!

Meet our Women's Ministry Director!
Julie Myers

From the Daytona Beach area, Julie was raised in the New Smyrna Beach Nazarene Church.  Julie graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1989.  She wasted no time while there, jumping into fellowship at First Church of the Nazarene in Nashville where she served on the Singles Ministry Council and belonged to the church orchestra. Julie married Jonathan and the two moved to Fayetteville NC to begin a new chapter. Fayetteville Church of the Nazarene quickly became their home church where she actively participated in choir and was on the worship team, served as NYI President, and led Women's Ministries for almost 3 years.  Moving to Charlotte in 2005 brought this fun-loving couple to Trinity Church of the Nazarene for the next 15 years of their lives.  There, Julie served as Women's Ministry Director for over 3 years, as well as various other leadership roles. In 2020, The Bridge Church was blessed to receive the Myers, taking them into membership in 2021.  At the Bridge, Julie has served as Church Board Secretary and is currently a part of the worship team, and the NC district woman's council. In what spare time she has, Julie enjoys reading, bike riding, hiking, spending time in the mountains, traveling, and enjoying time with her friends, and most especially with her granddaughter, Carrigan.
